December 2002 we decided to do an Atlantic round. On the 4th of August it will start. Our sailing boat, a Bavaria 40, will be transported by road to Portoroz, Slovenia. We will sail via Croatia, Italy, Corsica, The Balears, Spain to the Canary Islands. We hope to start on the 23rd November with the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) from Las Palmas. We will cross the Atlantic and hope to arrive in St. Lucia within about 3 weeks. Than we will cruise within the Caribean for about 5 months and in May we will commence our return via Bermuda, the Azores, England back to Holland. We will arrive back around mid July 2004.
